Job Description:
Dynovas is seeking qualified candidates for an Engineering Internship to support, learn, and innovate on the next generation of aerospace structures and systems.
Dynovas is a small business that will provide aspiring industry leaders an opportunity to learn and be involved in all aspects of entrepreneurship. As an Engineering Intern, one will report to the company Principal Engineers or Program Managers and be mentored by company leadership.
Specific tasks as a Mechanical, Structures, Materials, or similar Engineering Intern will include designing, manufacturing, and testing composite and metallic structures; building and operating prototypes; iterating on prototype designs for optimal performance; and developing improvements to additive manufacturing processes that will enhance aerospace mission capabilities.
An Engineering Intern will actively participate in a strong team-based environment across development and production programs. Through active program participation, an Engineering intern will gain experience with Computer Aided Design (CAD) modeling, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), controls and automation, prototype builds and operation, testing and data analysis, and customer interactions.

Availability:

Candidate Qualification Requirements:
In process of completing a 4-year degree in mechanical, structures, materials, or equivalent science and engineering program
Available up to 40 hrs/week in the summer with potential of 10-20 hrs/week during school year
Desire to solve problems independently and as part of a team
Strong communications skills
Candidate Qualification Desires:
Active (or previously active) with engineering clubs specifically in robotics, composites, structures, rocketeering, etc.
Interest in hands on “tinkering” to make advanced concepts work
Experience with computer aided design (CAD) modeling
